Another lens board had to be constructed to house Ben's Gundlach wide angle lens. Focal length of around 280mm meant that it had to be recessed into the camera for shooting at infinity.

Fully extended the bellows are around 5ft in length. This will allow 1 to 1 ratio with the Dallmeyer 6D lens and an 8D if the artist acquires one at a later date.

192 cardboard strips for strengthening the bellows had to be cut and bevelled.

After splitting the mahogany, the strips were laminated 3 into 1 for strength and to prevent warping.
